The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions in opposition to its two entities in Poland are misguided and says that Vekselberg has no management or possession of any Sulzer entity.
The company says it will proceed to do every thing in its power to petition for a removal from the sanctions listing, whereas totally complying with the sanctions at present levied against Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
Sulzer has 192 staff in Poland and the group is continuing to offer support to the households impacted by the local Polish sanctions.
If the suspension had been to last, the potential impression on Sulzer’s sales is proscribed to CHF21 million, which represents zero.6% of the group’s total gross sales in 2021.
