Pumps rental unit cleans up KZN in the wake of a catastrophe

In the wake of the flooding and landslides that occurred in KwaZulu-Natal in April and May 2022, 448 folks have been left dead and greater than forty 000 displaced, with damage to roads, colleges, water infrastructure and businesses.

Known because the Impi Unit, it offers a tilting 12.500 litre, 304 stainless steel tank, with a hydraulically-driven high-pressure pump capability of 295L/Min at 135bar, and a vacuum pump with 1700 m3/hr suction functionality. The high-pressure pump is fitted with a pneumatically operated regulating valve, making infinite strain adjustment potential, thus increasing the protection of the operator throughout use.
