Atlas Copco to acquire Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to accumulate the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from non-public equity firm Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen within the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics functions.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a global gross sales and repair footprint. The firm employs 265 individuals and had 2020 revenues of roughly €46.4 million.
