Brussels, August 8, 2022 – Aliaxis SA, a world leader enabling access to water and vitality through fluid administration options, declares the acquisition of Aquarius Spectrum, a novel supplier of superior acoustic water leak detection and pipe situation evaluation solutions for water infrastructure. Aquarius Spectrum shall be part of Aliaxis Next, Aliaxis’ newly created division which develops adjacent businesses in the area of water administration and preservation.
The revenues of Aquarius Spectrum are under €5 million a year, with a robust development potential. The financial details of this agreement won’t be disclosed.
With this acquisition, Aliaxis further strengthens its options base to deal with the world’s major water-related challenges similar to sustainable water management, resilient water infrastructure, access to water, and water for food. Aquarius Spectrum, an Israel-based technology firm, has developed ground-breaking techniques that proactively monitor water distribution networks. Throughout the world, Aquarius Spectrum sells leak detection technology which leverages acoustic sensors and sophisticated evaluation engines to detect water leaks and pinpoint their precise location.
